Danir acquires Sapia Teknik, which has 400
employees, and shortly thereafter changes
the company name to Sigma, broadening its
operations to include IT consultancy services.
1997
Sigma now has about 600 employees and is
listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange’s O-list.
2001
Sigma reaches 3,300 employees and is divided
into three new listed companies: Sigma, Teleca,
and Epsilon, all of which have Danir as the
principal owner. Teleca is later divested in 2008.
2002
This year, we broaden our operations and
take a step in a completely new direction with
the launch of Thanda Private Game Reserve,
an exclusive safari lodge in South Africa.
2003
Sigma is named the best IT consultant by
200 major companies, and in the same year,
we buy out Epsilon from the stock exchange.
