During the past year, our entire industry has faced
a significant slowdown, with rising interest rates Total, 2023-2024 CAGR total,
and global uncertainties causing setbacks for the 2019-2024
construction sector. New housing developments
have come to a halt, and the number of completed 2% MSEK
homes is at a historically low level, which affects all
of us in the urban development sector. CAGR organic,

We have fared relatively well through this and
have not experienced the same deep decline in order REVENUE 2020-2024
intake as many of our industry peers. Nevertheless,
we have had to adapt, being a bit more cautious in 217
terms of growth and hiring, while maintaining our 206
focus on infrastructure projects and large industrial
investments. Over the year, we have also divested 180 173
the business in Stockholm and concentrated on 166
developing the three other regions. Heading into the
second half of 2024, there are cautiously optimistic
signs from clients, with housing projects again being
initiated, which in turn drives investments in public
infrastructure.
In 2024, Sigma Civil has worked on a wide
range of projects, all of which contribute to solving
tomorrow’s societal challenges. We are involved in
projects that include large-scale carbon capture,
safeguarding communities against rising sea levels
and flooding, and the final storage of spent nuclear
fuel. Everything we do is about long-term thinking
and entrepreneurship.
