MUHAMMARA SPREAD Pure and responsible production
This recipe originating from Syria contains roasted pepper, FoodFarm`s oilseed hemp is grown on the
walnut, lemon, olive oil and spices. Pomegranate gives fresh Finnish farmers’ fields
contrast to this. We added dehusked hempseeds to the recipe
in our product development kitchen. The cultivar is FINOLA that is bred for nort-
hern conditions
4 big red peppers
2-4 chili pods Hemp is one of the best carbon binding
2-4 garlic cloves plants
1 dl olive oil
half a lemon, juice and grated peel Hemp cultivation is environmentally friend-

1 tbsp cumin or caraway
1 dl dehusked hempseeds Hemp is a pollinator for bees and bumble-

a bit of grated light bread

pomegranate seeds for decoration
Cut the peppers into four parts, remove seeds and put them
into the baking tray with the chilis. Add garlic cloves into the
baking tray. Bake them in the oven at 225 ̊C for 20 minutes or
until the pepper skin is dark and roasted. Let the peppers cool.
Peel them. Lightly roast the dehusked hempseeds on the pan.
Put all the ingredients in the blender. Save a few roasted hemp
seeds for decoration.
