7.2 PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
The Property Maintenance Section is responsible for the
maintenance of all 18 DFB’s properties. CONSUMPTION (KWHS) - 2022

THE PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
SECTION ADDRESSED:
• Over 920 maintenance requests.
• Over 170 were deemed to require immediate attention.
• A number of medium size renovation projects in various
locations were carried out.
In conjunction with Dublin City Council’s energy conservation
advisors DFB have exceeded its energy usage reduction target
for its building stock in 2023 with a further 3% reduction in
consumption (KWhs) and a 1% reduction in carbon (tones) these
figures added with last year’s reduction keeps DFB on target
with Dublin City Council’s overall energy reduction targets.
